Novell released "Novell ZENworks 7 SP1 Suite Release 4". The Novell® ZENworks® 7 Suite with Support Pack 1 Release 4 (ZENworks 7 Suite with SP1 R4) is a comprehensive set of integrated tools that automate IT management and business processes across the lifecycle of desktops, laptops, servers and handhelds.

ZENworks is the only solution that uses policy-driven automation to control IT costs by eliminating administrator effort, reducing IT skill requirements, and optimizing the value of IT assets across diverse, multiple-server and client platforms. This release provides updates to the Desktop Management on Linux product.

ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Support Pack 1 Interim Release 4 (ZDM 7 SP1 IR4) contains updates to ZENworks 7 Desktop Management with Support Pack 1 (ZDM 7 SP1). See list of symptoms listed in TID 3484245.

Novell released Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management SP2 (v10.2). This key new release includes many great features, including:

• Greater installation and operational flexibility, including the ability to choose which individual solutions get installed and displayed in the ZENworks Control Center console
• An enhanced cross-product reporting engine (allowing users to build reports that span endpoint, asset and patch management)
• SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 SP2 support for ZENworks satellite servers
• Ghost imaging support
• A patch status dashboard in Novell ZENworks Patch Management
• Additional license management usage data in Novell ZENworks Asset Management
• Tighter integration of Novell ZENworks Asset Management

Novell has resposted the ISO for 'Novell ZENworks Configuration Management AdminStudio Standard Edition'.

Novell and Acresso announced the 'Novell ZENworks Configuration Management AdminStudio Standard Edition' which extends the software packaging capabilities of ZENworks Configuration Management from a previously limited edition to the complete AdminStudio Standard Edition.  This new agreement provides ZENworks customers with the automated tools they need to ensure software packages are deployed rapidly and successfully, enabling them to reduce total cost of ownership.  The primary changes related to this new agreement with Acresso are as follows:

Novell released Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management SP1 (v10.1).

In Support Pack 1 Novell more than doubled the scalability and performance of ZENworks 10 Configuration Management. Also the new role-based administration features in Support Pack 1 give you more control over the creation and assignment of administration rights, while making the process simpler than ever before. And when it comes to imaging ZENworks 10 Configuration Management now includes full support for disk images you create and edit using ImageX.

Besides Sybase and Microsoft SQL server support, ZENworks 10 Configuration Management SP1 also supports Oracle10g (Oracle 10g Standard - 10.2.0.1.0).

It also includes the long awaited ZENworks Satellite capability which allows content, applications and images to be sent once to a remote location and then distributed to all the devices at that site. Previously, customers managing systems in remote offices were constrained by network bandwidth. With the option to move distribution and collection management functions to a local device, ZENworks Configuration Management speeds distribution of updates and applications, ensuring all machines are properly managed regardless of location, without slowing down the business.
