Adobe has released 'Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.42.34' which contains fixes for critical vulnerabilities identified in Security Bulletin APSB09-19 - Security updates available for Adobe Flash Player. These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Adobe recommends users update to the most current version of Flash Player available for their platform.

Adobe has two different MSI packages available for download. One MSI, full_flashplayer_win_msi, is targeted for Internet Explorer users. The other one, full_flashplayer_win_pl_msi, is targeted for Pluged-in based browsers like Firefox.
