The newly released Foxit Enterprise Reader 5.1 has been enhanced with the following:

  • Integrate PDF with Your Social Networks
  • Listen to PDF Documents with Read Out Loud using the available voices installed on your system.
  • The Read Mode capability, which provides a cleaner reading experience by reducing the clutter of menus and toolbars.
  • Enhanced text rendering so text displays more clearly and better defined.
  • Increased performance for reader startup, opening a PDF file, and closing a PDF file.
  • Automatically choose a printer's paper source based on PDF page size.

The 'Enterprise Deployment' section gives you the option to apply for 'enterprise deployment' and receive the download link for the MSI package. This MSI package supports the following properties:

DESKTOP_SHORTCUT = 1 (whether an advertised shortcut will be put on the desktop)
MAKEDEFAULT = 1 (whether the Foxit Reader will be made the default reader)
NOTEPAD = notepad.exe (what should be the default editor for text files)
SAFEMODE = 1  (whether Safe Reading Mode is enabled)
START_MENU_SHORTCUT (whether a shortcut in the start menu will be created)
VIEWINBROWSER = 1 (whether the Mozilla Firefox/Opera plugin is installed)

The MSI doesn't install the eBay icon and hides the Ask toolbar.
